School of Nursing’s BSN Program Ranks No. 9 in Nation

In the 2022-23 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges,” the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of Maryland School of Nursing ranked No. 9 in the nation, moving up one spot from last year. Read more about the School of Nursing’s ranking.

USM Foundation Wins Endowment of the Year Award

The University System of Maryland Foundation (USMF) investment team was named Endowment of the Year for 2022 by Institutional Investor, beating out Harvard Management Company, Hamilton College, Villanova University, Washington University, and Williams College — an impressive group of competitors. Read more about the award.

Jarrell Abuzz About Eastern Shore Efforts

Harking back to the days when his family operated its own canning facility on the Eastern Shore, UMB President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, joined Gov. Larry Hogan and other officials in celebrating the grand opening of Phillips Packing House, a revitalized canning facility that will serve as a community engagement hub and further the University’s programs in the region.
